The retrospective “Hans-Peter Feldmann. Art Exhibition” shows the entire spectrum of Feldmann’s work. His humorous questions about the meaning, beginning and end of art, his keen eye for everyday objects, their isolated observation and artistic appropriation are at the heart of the exhibition.
His use of objects such as toys, children’s pictures, notebooks, photographs and, finally his photographic work “100 Years”, which shows people from several generations from the ages zero to 100, is perfect for arousing interest and amazement in younger and older visitors alike.

Once a month, the museum opens its doors outside opening hours – but the lights stay off! We explore the exhibition together with torches and learn about Feldmann’s artistic world, which playfully connects art and everyday life – and plays with shadows and lights.

His humorous questions about the meaning, beginning and end of art, his keen eye for everyday objects, their isolated observation and artistic appropriation are at the heart of the exhibition. His use of objects such as toys, children’s pictures, notebooks, photographs and in particular his photographic work “100 Years”, which depicts people from several generations between the ages of 0 and 100, will evoke interest and wonder.
After a tour through the exhibition, we will meet in the “Malraum”, a space for creative work, to talk about the exhibition and to craft with various objects, photographs, and copies.



Meeting Point Museum takes place once a month. Refugees and migrants are very welcome and admission is free!

In this guided tour, we will take you on a journey through the exhibition with exciting stories and tactile experiences of selected objects.

Picture frames are important for the overall impression of the picture. They direct the eye, set accents, create boundaries and are evidence of style, zeitgeist or artistic attitude. It was not uncommon for the painters themselves to design the frames for their works.

This tour of our collection takes you on a journey from early picture frames to Expressionism. Take a closer look and focus on the art of framing.

Stoffe tragen Erinnerungen: das Gefühl auf der Haut, die Muster aus der Kindheit. Wir entdecken Kunst und Mode in der Sammlungsschau Alles Kunst?! – gewebt, genäht, designt, geschneidert, und bedruckt. Dabei tauschen wir uns über unsere Erinnerungen aus. Anschließend werden wir selbst kreativ. Welche Bilder können wir aus Stoffresten gestalten?
 
Treffpunkt Museum findet einmal im Monat statt. Geflüchtete sowie Migrant*innen sind herzlich willkommen, für sie ist der Eintritt frei!
