Please note: This tour will be held in German.

In a calm atmosphere, we will stroll through the galleries together and gain an insight into Jörg Immendorff’s extensive body of work.
By the end of the 20th century, he was hailed internationally as one of the most influential German artists of his generation. Around 100 objects – including major painting cycles, wood and bronze sculptures, and previously unseen drawings and archive material – chart the breadth of his practice. The exhibition will be the first full retrospective in Düsseldorf, where Immendorff studied, taught and worked for decades.
We will discover the stories and figures in Immendorff’s art and learn about the various places where he worked in Düsseldorf. Please do share your own memories with us too. We look forward to hearing your stories and impressions, and to this journey together!
