When the doors of the Kunstpalast are closed and the exhibition halls are dark, a whole new perspective on Niki de Saint Phalle’s art emerges. In the light of flashlights, the shapes, surfaces, and details of her works stand out in a particularly striking way.

Together, we’ll explore the exhibition outside of regular opening hours and encounter the famous ‘Shooting Pictures’, colorful ‘Nanas’ and monumental sculptures in an extraordinary atmosphere. Using flashlights—either ones we borrow or bring ourselves—we’ll view the art from unusual perspectives and let the works speak to us through the interplay of light and shadow.
