This workshop is suitable for German and English speaking people.

Green hills, yellow wheat fields or red evening light – the soft colours of a landscape often have a calming effect on us. In this workshop we learn how to capture a landscape scene with watercolours. So that during the next trip to the countryside, you will be able to paint the moment.

Discover your creative soul and your love for nature. Be inspired by a photo, the colours, and the time spent together and take your personal artwork home with you!

Nima Dibazar is an architect and watercolour painter who has been recording his own memories of people, places and travels in his sketchbooks. He will introduce you to painting with watercolours and show you how to work free and loose with them.

Please note: This workshop will be held in German.
What is art? Where does it begin – with a thought, a brushstroke or an everyday situation? When does something become a work of art – on the museum wall, in the catalogue or in the mind of the viewer? And who decides what art is? What constitutes an artist? These are questions that the artist Hans-Peter Feldmann grappled with. He photographed everyday life, worked with familiar objects, made small picture booklets and collected ordinary objects, which he turned into a shadow play through movement and lighting. This course is all about his works and techniques – let’s get inspired by the artist’s ideas and works, paint, photograph, create sculptures from everyday objects and our own shadow theatre. At the end, we will present our works in a small exhibition. We look forward to seeing you!

Once a month, you can work with the materials and techniques that Hans-Peter Feldmann used and come up with new combinations in the ‘workshop’. For him, art was a part of life, like sleeping, eating and sport, so he used every conceivable everyday object and material for his works.
Whether you work on images of people, landscapes or slices of bread, paint objects, design booklets or cut out figures, fun is guaranteed here.

If you like, you can put your work on our swap shelf and take something else with you in return.

Unforgettable holiday memories – captured in watercolour

The most precious moments of our summer holiday stay with us for a lifetime. Photos are a wonderful memento – but how about capturing the atmosphere, colours and emotions of your last destination with a brush and paint?
In this special workshop we will work on our own atmospheric watercolours painting of a typical coastal landscape. As the soft blue of the ocean and the warm light of the sun come to life on the paper, you will have the opportunity to capture your personal holiday memories and thoughts – in your own creative way.
Be inspired by nature, colour and the time spent together and take your work of art, which says more than a thousand photos, home.

Nima is an architect and watercolour painter who has been recording his own memories of people, places and travels in his sketchbooks. He will do a live demonstration of his painting style to show you how to work free and loose with watercolour and then you can enjoy creating your own unique watercolour. You are curios for more? Check his Instagram @nimadibazar out.

This workshop is suitable for English and German speaking people.
