From Monjé to Münter” which looks at 31 female artists who have been active in Düsseldorf between 1819 and 1919 – a period during which women were not allowed to study at the Dusseldorf Art Academy. Der Künstler Hans-Peter Feldmann lenkt mit seinen Arbeiten den Blick auf das Alltägliche, das wir kaum mehr wahrnehmen.
Durch seine sachlichen Fotografien von Gegenständen werden wir automatisch zum Nachdenken darüber angeregt, wie selbstverständlich wir mit vielen Dingen umgehen, woher sie überhaupt kommen und wie wichtig oder auch unwichtig es ist diese zu haben.
Am 16.10. ist Weltbrottag! Ein passender Anlass gemeinsam mit Michael Gauert, Gründer der Bulle Bäckerei, durch die Ausstellung zu gehen. und im Gespräch mit einem passionierten Brotexperten den Schwerpunkt auf die Abbildungen der Graubrotscheiben zu legen.

Michael Gauert ist Bäckermeister und Gründer der Bulle Bäckerei, seit 8 Jahren in Flingern ansässig, inzwischen mit verschiedenen Konzepten in Düsseldorf umtriebig und großer Fan von wilden Fermentationen (auch abseits von Backwaren!). Seit über 20 Jahren ist er als Bäcker dem Handwerk stets treu geblieben. Seine Lieblingsaufgaben bei Bulle sind neben dem Verkauf vor allem auch die Ausrichtung von Sauerteigbackkursen, um interessierten Gruppen die Freude an Sauerteig zu vermitteln. Neben seiner Funktion als Bulle-Bäcker ist er Vater von drei Kindern, die ihm derzeit die beste Zeit auf Erden geben und keinen Hehl daraus machen, dass Toastbrot über sein persönliches Lieblingsbrot aus Roggenvollkornsauerteig geht.
