In this tour we will discover the artist Winfred Gaul. For over 40 years he worked in Düsseldorf with various techniques: he wiped with cloths, arranged geometric figures, and assembles his canvases into new shapes. He was fascinated by colour. Visitors of all ages are invited to explore the colourful world of the painter.

On this guided tour for blind and visually impaired visitors, you will discover the fascinating art of Niki de Saint Phalle with all your senses. Detailed descriptions of selected works, fascinating stories from the artist’s life, as well as tactile objects and material samples, offer a unique insight into her work.
Throughout her life, Niki de Saint Phalle championed self-determination and social change. Her Nanas, experimental ‘shooting paintings’ and monumental sculptures made her one of the most famous female artists of the 20th century. Together, we will explore how she used her art to challenge social norms and break new ground in artistic expression.
Selected models can be touched during the tour, inviting you to experience the form, material and impact of the art first-hand.

Jörg Immendorff lived in Düsseldorf for many years. He studied, worked and taught there.
Afterwards, we’ll try out the various painting techniques for ourselves in the studio.
‘Meeting Point Museum’ takes place once a month.
Refugees and migrants are very welcome; admission is free for them.

In dieser Führung erhalten Sie Einblicke in das umfangreiche Werk von Jörg Immendorff. Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde er weltweit als einer der bedeutendsten deutschen Künstler seiner Generation gefeiert. Die rund 100 ausgestellten Exponate umfassen großformatige Gemäldeserien, Holz- und Bronzeskulpturen sowie noch nie gezeigte Zeichnungen und Archivmaterial. Die Ausstellung ist die erste umfassende Retrospektive in Düsseldorf, wo Immendorff jahrzehntelang studierte, lehrte und arbeitete.
