The Kunstpalast invites you and your babies to take a tour of the exhibition, where you will gain insights into one of Germany’s most important private collections. Many of the works on display have never been shown to the public before. Enjoy a selection of around 180 works of French art from the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as contemporary international art. These include outstanding paintings by Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, Pierre Bonnard, Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and Katharina Grosse.
Afterwards you will have the opportunity to chat and get to know each other over a coffee.

Night at the museum: The artworks come to life. Once a month, the Kunstpalast opens its doors after opening hours, but the lights stay off! We explore the exhibition together with flashlights that you may borrow or bring from home. During the tour, we not only encounter the classic four elements, but also look into the vision of the fifth.

Once a month, the museum opens its doors late at night, but the lights stay off! Together, we explore the exhibition in the dark. Our flashlights bounce merrily off the paintings and reflections dance across shimmering surfaces. Don’t get lost in the rooms or between the sculptures, whilst searching for the fifth element!

In this tour, you will see a remarkable collection. It is one of the largest private collections in Germany.
Many of the works are on public display for the first time. This is something special!
You will see approximately 180 works of art. There is French art from the 19th and 20th centuries and modern art from around the world.

Afterwards, we will try out the different painting techniques ourselves in the studio.

The museum meeting point is once a month.
Refugees and immigrants are very welcome, and admission is free for them.
