We sit daily at school, at the table to eat, or in the evening on the couch. How would your perfect chair look like? Together we go all the way from the first sketch to the model until we have the final three-dimensional work of art. Let’s be creative. We glue, hammer and staple different materials together until our sculptures take shape. As a final touch, we’re putting on a little exhibition for our family. We are looking forward seeing you!

In this workshop, you will design your own digital fashion – from the initial idea to the virtual fashion show. You will start with pen and paper and then bring your ideas into three-dimensional space: using VR glasses, you will design directly in 3D, experimenting with proportions, volume and details. Step by step, we will show you how to place your finished outfit on an avatar and move it through a virtual space. Finally, we will present your designs in a joint virtual fashion show.
No prior knowledge is required – curiosity and a desire to experiment are all you need.
The workshop is run by FemReality – an organisation that opens up creative and accessible paths into digital worlds. (www.femreality.com)

In this holiday course, we’ll be sculpting fantastic faces, creating animals and bringing figures to life. Inspired by Daumier, Picasso and other artists featured in the exhibition, we’ll design our own little sculptures and imaginative works of art. We’ll be drawing, painting and experimenting with shapes, colours and materials – we’ll also let chance take us by surprise, and to finish off, we’ll put on a little exhibition for our families. In this holiday course, we will learn about works by famous artists such as Monet, Cézanne and Matisse and explore their working methods in a playful way. In the Palast Studio – and, weather permitting, outside in the courtyard of the Kunstpalast – we will have fun creating our own works inspired by the exhibition. We will paint with watercolours, wax paints and acrylics, using dots, strokes and surfaces. We will do exciting drawing exercises and collage strong, colourful pictures – all using a wide variety of materials. We will also let chance surprise us and, at the end, we will put on a small exhibition for our families. We look forward to seeing you!
